Education Policy

We, the Metas of the Seventh-day Adventist College Consider Education means more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.

-By Ellen white on Education

  • The secret of our educational institution's success is a community of teachers who are committed to their careers, professional abilities, moral integrity, fairness and humanity, and grow within the true horizons of education. We are eager to build a fair human society where respect for human dignity, where challenges to unjust structures are maintained, where our cultural heritage, religious harmony and ethnic integration are maintained, where poor and marginalized people receive special care .
  • Our institution is open to all students, regardless of their caste and creed; they are accepted and cherished as they are and developed in their cultural, social and religious traditions.
  • Our institutions must be open to society as a whole by providing resources for continuing education and informal teaching. In order to achieve this educational goal of the Seventh-day Adventist University, we hope that students, parents and teachers can realize this vision and cooperate with us wholeheartedly.
